Born in Surat,Gujarat, Nisreen, She completed her diploma in painting 1957 and Mural painting in 1958from Sir J.J. School of Art ,Mumbai.
Nisreen has solo shows like USIS, Calcutta(1974) ,Max Muller Bhavan, Mumbai(1976),Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta(1960),Chetna Art Gallery, Mumbai(1987)and Art Age, Calcutta(1991) to her credit.Besides these she has been a part of a number of group shows as well.
Nisreen’s works have been recognized with awards such as Bombay Society Award in 1956, Bombay State exhibition in 1956 and Bombay state exhibition in 1957.
