The successful candidate is expected to provide visitors a professional experience in the gallery and ensure smooth backend operations. Basic knowledge of art and the art world is a plus.


  • Managing physical day to day functioning of the gallery - exhibition, storage and office spaces, overseeing appearance and general condition of the gallery, stock and necessary supplies

  • Manning the front desk - greeting visitors, clients who walk in, explaining the show and providing information

  • Providing walkthroughs for shows whenever required

  • Hosting events if and when required

  • Overseeing and execution of all logistics for opening like catering and music

  • Handling of all press for the exhibitions and events

  • Organizing photography and documentation of the shows

  • Sending out e-catalogue PDFs to interested clients


  • Managing the gallery inventory and database, making sure everything is up to date

  • Co-ordinating and assisting curators (both guest & in-house) to procure show related data well in time for design and marketing activities to happen

  • Managing all artwork movement between artist, gallery and clients

  • Artist Liaison for all additional requirements for the opening like vinyls, name tags, framing, printing, procurement of furniture, screens etc

  • Dealing with framers and hanging works for shows

  • Art Fair Management - Oversee all applications and art fair process from start to finish

  • Researching new artists and curatorial topics

  • Researching artist opportunities for sales and coordinating liaisons with buyers

  • Overseeing relations and networking with new clients for promotions


  • Communication - Command over English language both verbal and written

  • Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficient to learn Adobe Softwares

  • Gallery Manager tool
