Born in 1973 in Mumbai, Heeral studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, M S University Baroda. Her works evolve and grow simultaneously as the artist  passes from one phase of life to another. Through a combination of simple elements such as stitching and weaving , the artist weaves the notion of a homemaker in her final picture. The palette chosen by the artist conveys a sense of calmness and acceptance towards reality, alluring the viewers into her unspoken stories. There is a sense of mystery and sensitivity in her work experimented across mediums such as watercolor and acrylic.

Heeral Trivedi was awarded the National Scholarship, 1996-98 from the Ministry of Human Resources and the Gujarat Lalit Kala Akademi Award in Painting in 1998. Having a long association with artist, Heeral Trivedi has participated in multiple group shows in our gallery such as Similarities-Dissimilarities (2001), Tribute to Bhupen Khakhar (2004), Earth (2005) and Faces (2008).

The contemporary artist currently lives and works out of Vadodara.
